Dennis A. Dudzik, P.E. - Founder

Mr. Dudzik has over 40 years of energy and environmental experience. He founded the International Association for the Advancement of Steam Power (IAASP) in May of 2000, and serves as the organization's President. He retired in 2019 from his position as Associate Vice President of AECOM Corporation, where he was responsible for the firm's southern California municipal energy program; including program, contract, and project management, principal engineering and peer review, and client development activities. He has had key management roles in over a dozen major renewable resource generation, storage, transmission, and substation projects over the last 18 years. By bringing together the knowledge and experience of a project manager, state regulator, engineer, program manager, electric generation planner, and negotiator, Mr. Dudzik is dedicated to assisting steam power pioneers in successfully anticipating and navigating the roadblocks to new technology development and commercialization.

Mr. Dudzik currently serves, in an emeritus capacity, on the Board of Directors of the Aerospace Museum of California. He is past president of the Association of Professional Energy Managers (Sacramento), and is the recipient of the Mac Short Memorial Award for the development of an innovative steam engine expander. Mr. Dudzik served as Leadership Trainer and a BSA Scoutmaster for over 15 years.
